DU-IT is now issuing a different type of Microsoft license to adjunct faculty. This new license, known as the A3, contains the same features offered to full-time faculty and staff with one exception: the ability to download free versions of desktop applications (ex: Word, Excel) is no longer available. These tools will still be available to this group, through the browser, when logged into email.

The IRS recently posted an alert about an email phishing scam targeting educational institutions, including students and staff of institutions that have an ".edu" email address.
The emails look legitimate and are branded with the IRS logo with various subject lines like: "Tax Refund Payment" or "Recalculation of your tax refund payment." They ask individuals to click a link and submit a form to claim their refunds.

Information Technology is aware of phone trouble that is primarily affecting Campus-to-campus calling. 4-digit dialing between campuses is currently unavailable and our vendor is actively working to resolve the issue. Our vendor estimates phone service to be restored by approximately 11:30 AM.
Information Technology is reporting that the Turnitin service was experiencing intermittent issues caused by a service disruption. The Issue occurred between 12:13pm and 2:15pm and has been resolved.

Users may have experienced issues with logging in, uploading, and submitting papers to Turnitin today. This was due to a software bug, which has been resolved by the vendor.

DU IT routinely updates digital certificates as they expire. Digital certificates are used to secure data transmissions. This Thursday, November 11th, a new certificate will be applied to the Wi-Fi networks. If you use 'DU Wireless' and/or 'DU Resident' your wireless device may prompt you to verify the new certificate.
