Adobe Creative Cloud

Creative Cloud is a collection of 20+ apps for photography, video, design and web production. Anyone wishing to use Adobe Creative Cloud software can access it in the following locations on campus:

  • The Innovation Center (first floor of the Rebecca Crown Library)

  • On the six Macintosh computers in The Technology Center (Lewis Hall, Lower Level)

Note that in order to use Creative Cloud, a user must first have an account with Adobe.com.
To create a free account:

  1. Go to https://adobe.com

  1. Click the “Sign In”

  1. Click “Create an Account”

  1. Users will be asked to enter their email address, provide first and last name and to create a password.

Students who are currently majoring in Graphic Design, Digital Cinema, or Web Design are automatically provided with a named-user Creative Cloud license. The named-user Creative Cloud license enables access to Creative Cloud software in select classrooms on campus, as well as allowing the license-holder to install and run Creative Cloud software on their personal devices. Upon enrollment in the named-user license program, students will receive a welcome message from Adobe which includes instructions for setting up their account.

Important Note: The named-user license is connected to the student’s DU email address. For users with existing Adobe.com accounts that DO NOT use their DU email address, this will mean creating and using a new Adobe.com account that uses their DU email address for sign-in.
