DESCRIPTION
A Short-Term Login is used to access University workstations and applications such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint or Excel. A Short-Term Login account is meant to be used for visitors of the University who are attending/participating in an event or meeting.
For example: A vendor visiting to perform a presentation or a guest lecturer speaking at an event or class. However, a visitor that is working with a department and needing file/drive access or a contractor working on campus for a week should fill out a Sponsored Guest Account Request, found here.
PRICING
There is currently no charge to use this service, unless detailed in optional services. These costs may be associated to a departmental account.
ELIGIBILITY
The following communities are eligible to request this service:
- Part- and Full-Time Faculty
- Part- and Full-Time Staff
AVAILABILITY
Account access for sponsored guests is available 24/7; however, time and date restrictions may be placed upon request.

SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT (SLA)
The target delivery time for a Short-Term Login is within five (5) business days after all information has been submitted online and approved by the direct supervisor and Information Technology.
