The Poly CCX 350 desk phone supports making and receiving calls through Microsoft Teams, but it is not required to use Teams Calling. Desk phones will be assigned to certain community members based on their job responsibilities and available inventory.
Use the Softkeys beneath the screen and the Back and Navigation keys to move around and make selections.
To begin setting up your Poly CCX 350 desk phone, ensure it is properly connected. There are multiple ports located on the back of the device for your use.
The port indicated by the orange arrow connects the phone to your docking station or desktop. The port marked by the blue arrow is for connecting your devices—both the docking station/desktop and the phone—to the internet. Connect one ethernet cord from your docking station/computer to the port with the orange arrow, and another ethernet cord directly from the ethernet wall port to the port with the blue arrow.
After confirming that your phone is powered on and connected, please proceed with the following setup steps:
- Enter a memorable four-digit PIN, then press the "Enter" softkey. Using your extension as the PIN is recommended but not required.
- Review the End User License Agreement (EULA) and press the "Accept" softkey.
- Select time zone "12 (GMT - 6:00, Central Time US & Canada)" using the navigation keys and click the "Next" softkey.
- To add your profile configuration, press the "Next" softkey.
- Confirm that you are using Microsoft Teams by selecting "Yes" using the softkey.
- Select "Refresh Code" using the checkmark navigation key, then on your computer, go to “microsoft.com/devicelogin.”
- Enter the code displayed on the phone into the website, then click “Next”.
- Click "Continue" to confirm that you are signing in.
