Poly CCX 350 Desk Phone Quick Start Guide - Microsoft Teams

The Poly CCX 350 desk phone supports making and receiving calls through Microsoft Teams, but it is not required to use Teams Calling. Desk phones will be assigned to certain community members based on their job responsibilities and available inventory.

Use the Softkeys beneath the screen and the Back and Navigation keys to move around and make selections.

MAKE A CALL

Do one of the following:

  1. Press an assigned line key.
  2. Pick up the Handset and dial the number.
  3. Press the Headset or Speakerphone button on the phone and dial the number.
  4. From the Home screen, press the Calls softkey .
    • Select from Recent or Favorites softkeys and use the Filter icon to sort.

ASSIGN INDIVIDUAL LINE KEYS

  1. Press a line key button OR navigate to and select +Assign line key.
  2. Select Assign line key.
  3. Navigate to and select Search for people.
  4. Use keypad to enter a contact’s name OR enter a phone number in the To: field.

MANAGE LINE KEYS

  1. Press a line key button OR navigate to and select +Assign line key.
  2. Select Manage line keys to view all lines.
  3. Navigate to the Trash can icon to delete or select the + sign icon next to an open line to add.

Tip: Hard press (hold it down) an existing line key where you will be able to Reassign line key, Unassign line key or Manage.

RECEIVE A CALL

When someone calls you, you’ll get a notification on the screen that lets you Accept or Decline.

Alternatively, you can pick up the handset to Make and Receive calls.

VIEW RECENT CALLS

  1. From the Homescreen, press the Calls softkey to view content of the Recent softkey (default).
  2. Navigate to and select the Filter icon to sort by All (default), Incoming, Outgoing or Missed.
  3. Select the Info icon next to any entry to view options including Call back, Leave voicemail, View profile and more.

VIEW FAVORITES

  1. From the Homescreen, press the Calls softkey then select the Favorites softkey.
  2. Click on the Phone icon to make the call or use the 3 dots icon to Call, View profile, Remove from speed dial and more

In-Call Features


PLACE A CALL ON HOLD

  • During an active call, press the Hold button on the phone.
    • Press the button again to resume the call.

OR

  • Press the 3 dots softkey and choose Put call on hold.
    • Press the Play softkey, to resume the call.

MANAGE MULTIPLE CALLS - All active calls will be visible at the top of the screen.

  • Press the Accept softkey to answer the incoming call.

The original call will automatically be placed on hold. Repeat as needed for each incoming call.

  • To resume a call, navigate to and select the Play icon at top of the screen or select the Phone icon to end the call as needed.

 

MUTE YOUR LINE

  • Press the Mute button on the phone to mute your line. Press it again to unmute.

TRANSFER A CALL – During an active call

Blind Transfer

  1. Press the Transfer button on the phone.
  2. Select Transfer now. The call is automatically placed on hold.
  3. Select a Contact OR use the Search softkey and then use the keypad to enter a contact’s name. Select the contact, then the call will transfer to the intended recipient and is disconnected from you.

TRANSFER A CALL

Consultative Transfer

  1. Press the Transfer button on the phone.
  2. Select Consult first. The call is automatically placed on hold.
  3. Select a Contact OR use the Search softkey and then use the keypad to enter a contact’s name
  4. Next to the contact, select the 3 dots icon and then choose and select from the options to Call.
  5. If the intended recipient agrees to take the call: Use the Transfer icon at top of the screen.
    • If they don’t agree to take the call: Use the Play icon at top of the screen to talk to the original caller. PLACE A CALL ON HOLD • Press the More Options softkey then select Hold OR Press the Hold button on the phone. • To Resume: Press the Hold button again or press the Play softkey . MANAGE MULTIPLE CALLS - All active calls will be visible at the top of the scree

CONFERENCE

  1. During an active call, press the People softkey.
  2. Navigate to Add people and search for the contact.
  3. Select the intended contact to add them to the call. Repeat as needed.


Basic Settings


FORWARD ALL CALLS

  1. Navigate to the 3-dash icon.
  2. Select Settings, then select Calling.
  3. Toggle Call forwarding on.
  4. Choose Forward to Voicemail OR Contact or number.

VOICEMAIL

  1. Press the Voicemail softkey.
  2. Navigate to the desired voicemail.
  3. To listen, navigate to then select the Play icon.
  4. Select from the icons at the bottom to call back or delete.

CHANGE VOICEMAIL GREETING

Using the Home button:

  1. Press the Home button on the phone.
  2. Navigate to and select Calling .
  3. Select Change voicemail greetings and follow the audio prompts to record a standard and out of office greeting.
