It's Your Official Campus ID Card
Dominican University issues each student, employee and affiliated guest an identification card that includes their name and image, referred to as a Star Card. The Star Card serves an identification card; an electronic key card controlling access to residence halls and other buildings, the Library, facilities, and staff office buildings; and DU Dollars which can be used to purchase goods and services at select locations on campus.

- Fast: With exact change every time, the Star Card is even faster than cash or credit!
- Safe: Was your Star Card lost or stolen? No problem! Use the website and notify us. Stop by the Support Center and we'll issue you a new card.

The Star Card is a vital component of your day-to-day experience at Dominican University. With your Star Card, you can:
Access Facilities and Services
By either touching or swiping your Star Card to a reader with authorized access, you'll use your Star Card to access:
- Residence halls, academic buildings, recreational facilities and office buildings
- Events on campus
- Time reporting systems
- The campus printing system and photocopiers
- Library privileges
- Student and employee discounts

PRICING
DU does not charge a fee for the first card for staff, faculty and enrolled students.

The following communities are eligible to request this service:
- Part- and Full-Time Faculty
- Part- and Full-Time Staff
AVAILABILITY
Star Cards are available to be printed during the Support Center hours of operation.
The Support Center is available for in-person, email and phone support for the Star Card during the following hours:
- Sunday -- 12:00pm to 5:00pm
- Monday - Thursday -- 7:45am to 7:00pm
- Friday -- 7:45am to 5:00pm
- Saturday -- 8:00am to 12:00pm

SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT (SLA)
The target delivery time for Dominican Network Accounts is within five (5) business days after all information has been submitted online and approved by the direct supervisor and Information Technology.
