Mailing Request → Karis

  • Open Slate > Deliver > Mailings > Ready for Review 
  • Verify content appears to match event description 
  • If no content appears in the message, check for: 
    • In Recipient List > Event GUID is present, CEEB code is present, Student Subtype and Start Terms are selected
    • In Event > Event Notes > Selections are made for Modality/Location and External Event Category
  • Once content is verified: 
    • Click Send Mailing
    • Unselect Ready for Review
    • Send Mailing and type SEND in the warning box
    • Close ticket with a message stating when the mailing will send (now or future date - set by requester)

International documents (from applicant/commercial email) → Karis

  • Download document(s)
  • Open Applicant record in Slate
  • Add New Material to current application
    • Material Type (select from dropdown): International Transcript or Academic Document - From Applicant or School (commercial email)
    • In Memo - paste ticket number 
    • Select a file to upload > Upload > Save
  • Close ticket (no need to notify sender) with note: Uploaded to Slate (Applicant #) -XYZ (employee initials) 

Fast-Track Pathways admitted applicant notifications → Karis

  • Open J1 > Work with Students > Student Information > search J1 ID of applicant > Advisers tab
  • Draft email: 
    • Paste entire ticket notification in body of email
    • Paste entire ticket subject in email subject line 
    • Add to recipient list: 
      • Adviser listed for applicant in J1
      • If applicant is accepted to MBA, MSA, or MS in Healthcare Management, also add Dave Aron and Anne Drougas as recipients 
      • CC: Fast-Track Pathways (fasttrackpathways@dom.edu) 
    • Send email
  • Close ticket with note: Sent to adviser(s) -XYZ (employee initials)
