The Poly CCX 600 desk phone supports making and receiving calls through Microsoft Teams, but it is not required to use Teams Calling. Desk phones will be assigned to certain community members based on their job responsibilities and available inventory.

MAKE A CALL
- From the Home screen, tap Calls.
- Search for and select a contact or choose from Favorites or Recent. Alternatively, use the dial pad to enter a person’s number.
- Tap Call.

RECEIVE A CALL
When someone calls you, you’ll get a notification on the screen that lets you Accept or Decline.

In-Call Features - During an Active Call

PLACE A CALL ON HOLD
- Tap the Hold icon
.
- When ready, tap Resume.
MANAGE MULTIPLE CALLS - All active calls will be visible at the top of the screen.
- Tap Accept to answer the incoming call. The original call will be placed on hold. Repeat as needed for each incoming call
- To resume a call, tap the Play icon.
MUTE YOUR LINE
- Tap the Mic icon
to mute your line. Tap the Mic icon again to unmute. Alternatively, you can also press the Mic button
on the bottom right corner of the phone.
TRANSFER A CALL
Blind Transfer
- Tap the Transfer icon
.
- Tap Transfer now. The call is placed on hold.
- In the To field - search for and select a contact or enter a phone number. The call transfers to the intended recipient.
Consultative Transfer
- Tap the Transfer icon
.
- Tap Consult first. The call is placed on hold.
- In the Consult field – search for and select a contact or enter a phone number.
- After the recipient agrees to take the call, tap Transfer
then tap OK to confirm the transfer.
Tip: Use the play icon to talk to the original caller.
CONFERENCE – Add people to your call
- Tap the People icon
.
- Tap Add people, and search for the contact you are trying to add.
- Tap on the intended contact and then tap the check mark
to add them to the call. Repeat as needed.
Basic Settings
FORWARD ALL CALLS
- From the Home screen, tap on your Profile picture
.
- Tap Settings, then tap Calling.
- Toggle Call forwarding on
.
- Choose Forward to…Voicemail OR Contact or number.
CREATE A SPEED DIAL
- From the Home screen, tap the Calls icon
.
- Go to the Favorites tab or Recent tab.
- Tap the icon next to the contact you want to add as a speed dial. A menu will open below with the selected contact.
- Tap the Star icon
, which will mark it as a Speed Dial. Your contact now appears on the Calls page under Favorites tab under speed dial dropdown.
Tip: To remove a speed dial, tap the Star icon again to cancel the selection.
CHECK VOICEMAIL
- From the Home screen, tap the Voicemail icon
.
- Select a message from the list. The transcript will open below it.
- To listen, tap the play icon
. The contact card will open on the right side of the screen. Select from the icons at the bottom of the screen to call back

SIDECAR
Getting Started
- On your Phone - click Profile Picture | Settings.
- Select Accessories | Extension module.
- Configure the programmable keys, choosing the functions, contacts, or lines you wish to associate with each key.
- Save your changes.
Add Contacts
- On your Phone – click People then +.
- Select Create a new group or select Add from directory to add a contact to an existing group.
- From the drop-down, select the group you want to add to the sidecar, select the 3 dots then select Pin group to sidecar.
