The Poly CCX 600 desk phone supports making and receiving calls through Microsoft Teams, but it is not required to use Teams Calling. Desk phones will be assigned to certain community members based on their job responsibilities and available inventory.

MAKE A CALL
- From the Home screen, tap Calls.
- Tap on Favorites or Recent.
- Favorites: Tap on a contact to initiate a call or tap on the 3 dots icon to view options.
- Recent: Tap on a contact to initiate a call or tap on the info icon to view options. Use the Filter icon to sort by Incoming, Outgoing or Missed.
Alternatively, tap on a Line Key* or use the Dialpad to enter a contact’s number then tap Call.

RECEIVE A CALL
When someone calls you, you’ll get a notification on the screen that lets you Accept or Decline.

ASSIGN INDIVIDUAL LINE KEYS
- On the Homescreen, tap the More icon. Unless Line Keys is already visible on the Homescreen.
- Tap Line Keys.
- Tap + Assign line key then tap Assign line key again.
- Select the + icon next to a contact OR tap the Search icon and enter either a contact’s name or a phone number in the To: field.
Tip: Hard press (hold it down) an existing line key where you will be able to Reassign line key, Unassign line key or Manage line keys.
MANAGE LINE KEYS
- Follow steps 1-2 listed above.
- Tap + Assign line key then tap Manage line keys.
- Tap either Left Column or Right Column.
- Tap the Trash can icon to delete an existing line key or select the + icon next to an open line to add.
In-Call Features - During an Active Call

PLACE A CALL ON HOLD
- Tap the Hold icon

- When ready, tap Resume.
MANAGE MULTIPLE CALLS - All active calls will be visible at the top of the screen.
- Tap Accept to answer the incoming call. The original call will be placed on hold. Repeat as needed for each incoming call
- To resume a call, tap the Play icon.
MUTE YOUR LINE
- Tap the Mic icon
to mute your line. Tap the Mic icon again to unmute. Alternatively, you can also press the Mic button
on the bottom right corner of the phone.

TRANSFER A CALL
Blind Transfer
- Tap the Transfer icon

- Tap Transfer now. The call is placed on hold.
- Tap on a contact OR enter a name or number in the Transfer to: People or Phone field. The call transfers to the intended recipient.
Consultative Transfer
- Tap the Transfer icon
.
- Tap Consult first. The call is placed on hold.
- Tap on a contact OR enter a name or number in the Consult with: People or Phone field.
- If the recipient agrees to take the call: Tap Transfer button.
- If they don’t agree to take the call: Select the Play icon to talk to the original caller
Tip: Use the play icon to talk to the original caller.
ADD PEOPLE TO YOUR CALL
- Tap the People icon
.
- Tap Add people, and search for the contact you are trying to add.
- Tap on the intended contact and then tap the check mark
to add them to the call. Repeat as needed.
Basic Settings
FORWARD ALL CALLS
- From the Home screen, tap on your Profile picture
.
- Tap Settings, then tap Calling.
- Toggle Call forwarding on
.
- Choose Forward to…Voicemail OR Contact or number.
Tip: Under Settings > Calling - Toggle ON Display call forward on home-screen to create a quick access shortcut on the Homescreen.
CREATE A SPEED DIAL
- From the Home screen, tap the Calls icon
.
- Go to the Favorites tab or Recent tab.
- Tap the icon next to the contact you want to add as a speed dial. A menu will open below with the selected contact.
- Tap the Star icon
, which will mark it as a Speed Dial. Your contact now appears on the Calls page under Favorites tab under speed dial dropdown.
Tip: To remove a speed dial, tap the Star icon again to cancel the selection.
CHECK VOICEMAIL
- From the Home screen, tap the Voicemail icon

- Select a message from the list. The transcript will open below it.
- To listen, tap the play icon
. The contact card will open on the right side of the screen. Select from the icons at the bottom of the screen to call back

CHANGE VOICEMAIL GREETING
- From the Homescreen, tap on your Profile picture.
- Tap Settings, then tap Calling.
- Select Change voicemail greetings and follow the audio prompts to record a standard and out of office greeting.
RINGTONES
- From the Homescreen, tap your Profile picture.
- Tap Settings, then tap Calling.
- Scroll to Ringtones and choose one for Calls for you, Forwarded calls and Delegated calls (if applicable)
SCREENSAVER
- From the Homescreen, tap your Profile picture.
- Tap Device Settings.
- Tap Display then toggle Screen Saver ON .
- Tap Screen Saver background and choose from DeskClock or Colors.
SIDECAR
Getting Started
- On your Phone - click Profile Picture | Settings.
- Select Accessories | Extension module.
- Configure the programmable keys, choosing the functions, contacts, or lines you wish to associate with each key.
- Save your changes.
Add Contacts
- On your Phone – click People then +.
- Select Create a new group or select Add from directory to add a contact to an existing group.
- From the drop-down, select the group you want to add to the sidecar, select the 3 dots then select Pin group to sidecar.
