Support Limitations for Personal Devices

Dominican University's Support Center is committed to assisting our community with technology-related needs. However, when it comes to personal devices, our support is limited due to liability concerns and resource constraints.

What We Can and Cannot Do

Limitations

  • Hardware Repairs: We cannot perform any physical repairs or modifications on personal devices. This includes issues with screens, keyboards, batteries, internal components, etc.
  • Liability Risk: Attempting to fix hardware or deeply embedded software issues may result in further damage, for which Dominican cannot be held responsible.

What We Can Help With

  • Basic Troubleshooting: We can offer general guidance for software-related issues such as connectivity problems, basic settings, or account access.
  • Recommendations: We can direct you to appropriate resources or repair services.
