Before beginning, turn on the equipment by touching anywhere on Panel #1.

To use the in‑room computer and projection (no Zoom meeting)
- Log in to the computer.
- On Panel #1, select Presentation.

- If you experience sound issues, click the sound icon in the bottom‑right corner of the computer screen and adjust the volume

To use your own laptop with room sound/projection (no Zoom meeting)
- Plug your laptop into the labeled laptop input cord.

- On Panel #1, select Video Conferencing (even if you are not using Zoom).

- On Panel #2, the system will automatically select the Share option and display your content.
- For sound issues, adjust the volume directly on your laptop, and the audio will play through the room speakers.
To use Zoom in the room
Training is required if you wish to use Zoom in this room. Please schedule a training session with IT at least two days prior to your event.

This room features the ZoomRoom option, which is different from a regular Zoom meeting. It's important to note that the ZoomRoom utilizes the audio and video systems of the Cusack Board room for everyone in the room, whether they are there in person or joining virtually. Those physically in the room should not connect to Zoom on their own laptops unless they need to share content; in that case, they should turn off both audio and video on their laptops.
Before Your Meeting Invite the ZoomRoom
As soon as you reserve the room, invite the following resource to your Zoom meeting in Outlook:

You can find the ZoomRoom under Resources in Outlook or enter the email address directly. This ensures your meeting appears on the room’s control panel.
Starting Your Meeting in Cusack
- On Panel 1, select Video Conferencing.
- On Panel 2, locate your Zoom meeting on the left side and select it.
- There is no need to log in to the room computer. Panel 2 fully controls the Zoom meeting.
All audio and video in the room are handled through the room’s AV system—not through personal devices.
Sharing Content
Sharing of content can happen normally as it would in a Zoom meeting - anyone who is in the meeting can access the Share button.
Additional Notes
- The podium microphone is active only during a Zoom meeting.
When finished in the room
- Log out of the computer, if needed.
- End your Zoom meeting, if applicable.
- On Panel #1, select Turn System OFF, then choose Power Down.
