If you’re having trouble sharing your screen on your Mac device (i.e. iMac, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air) please follow the steps below:
* Please note that the following instructions are based off of macOS Ventura. If you are using an earlier versions of macOS, such as macOS Catalina, applications and labels may appear different. *
Step 1: Go to ‘System Settings’ on your device.
Step 2: In the left sidebar of System Settings, navigate to ‘Privacy & Security’.
Step 3: Once you’ve highlighted ‘Security & Privacy’, scroll to find and select 'Screen Recording' to the right of the sidebar. (For earlier versions of macOS, you may need to first find and select the 'Privacy' tab, then locate 'Screen Recording' in the left sidebar).
Step 4: Once you've selected ‘Screen Recording’, find and switch the toggle button to the on position for the app 'zoom'. A pop-up may appear requesting your password to allow these changes. (If the Zoom application is currently running, it will prompt you to exit the application to apply the new change.)
