How to utilize a classroom with a Smart TV

Verify which TV you have in the classroom

  1. If you have a Samsung black TV proceed to Step 1.
  2. If you have a Sharp TV proceed to Step 2.
  3. If you have a Samsung silver TV (Room L212) proceed to Step 3.

Step 1

       1. Turn on the Samsung TV with the remote.

             a. If the remote is not working or not found, turn on the TV from the bottom right power button.

       2. Turn on the computer or log into the computer.

       3. By default, the HDMI cable is inserted into Input 1. If the TV is on another input, utilize the remote and

           select Input/Source 1,or utilize the power button as a joystick to maneuver the selection to Input Selection

           and select Input/Source 1.

              

Step 2

  1. Turn on the Sharp TV with the remote control

             a. If the remote is not working or not found, turn on the TV from the left side panel of the TV.

       2. Turn on the computer or log into the computer

       3. By default, the HDMI cable is inserted into Input/Source 1. If the TV is on another input, utilize the remote and

           select Input/Source or utilize the side panel and select Input Selection and select Input/Source 1

            .

Step 3

       1. Turn on the Samsung TV with the remote control

              a. If the remote is not working or not found, turn on the TV from the bottom right side of the TV

       2. Turn on the computer or log into the computer

       3. By default, the HDMI cable is inserted into Input/Source 1. If the TV is on another input, utilize the remote and

           select Input/Source 1, or utilize the power button as a joystick to maneuver the selection to Input Selection

           and select Input/Source 1.

          

Once you are logged in, use the Windows Key (⊞ Win + P)  

Make sure you are on (Duplicate)

Once you are done using the room and TV, please turn off the TV and make sure to log out of the computer.
