What Are the Password Complexity Requirements?

A Dominican network account's password must meet the following complexity requirements:

  • Minimum length: 16 characters
  • Maximum length: 32 characters
  • Single dictionary words are not allowed (Ex. Disqualification)
  • It may not contain your username
  • The last 10 previous passwords cannot be used

Users will no longer need to use special characters, but it is recommended.  With the current minimum length of 16 characters, please try using a passphrase that is unique. An example of a passphrase could be "TheFiremanClimbedTheLadder" or more complex "TheF1remanClimb3dTheL4dder!".
