In the Social Hall, towards the right-side wall (walking in from the dining hall side), there are two sets of controls for the audio.
How to Use Microphone in Social Hall/Dining Hall
1.Depending which location, you would like to project the audio, use the correct panel with the corresponding name. Make sure the knob is towards the “Mic” setting on the panel. You then use the lower knob to adjust the volume level in each location as needed.
Adjusting the volume between 5 and 7 usually a good level.
2. First, turn on the microphone. Hold the power button until the power button turns green.
3. Do not switch any channels or groups, but tap the microphone to see if sound is projecting. If the battery is filled all the way, then the microphone has full battery.
4. If for any reason the microphone does not turn on, it may need new batteries. To do this, twist the bottom of the microphone to open the battery area. The tab that is holding the batteries flips forward from the top down. Please be gentle as it is a small plastic tab that can break easily. Take out the batteries and replace.
