Multifactor Authentication (MFA) - Moving to a new smartphone 

 

Important: If you no longer have access to a device with the Microsoft Authenticator app, you will likely require assistance from the Support Center in order to access your Dominican account. 

 

Step 1. Delete the Authenticator app authorization for your previous phone 

Visit  https://aka.ms/mysecurityinfo and log in with your Dominican email address. 

Navigate to the page to configure your preferred MFA options, and locate your old device under sign-in methods. Click Delete to remove this device from your account.

Physically delete the Microsoft Authenticator app from your old device as well. 

 

Step 2. Add the Microsoft Authenticator app to your new phone

Congratulations! You are now set up with multifactor authentication on your new phone.
