* Please note that the following instructions are based off of macOS Catalina. *
Step 1: Open the ‘Safari’ application on your Mac device.
Step 2: Go to the following link ➝ Download Firefox
Step 3: Once you’re on the webpage, click on the “Download Now” button, located on the left-hand side of the screen.
Step 4: You’ll receive a prompt on the screen to allow the download. Please click on “Allow”.
Step 5: Your download has now started. You can check the process of the download in the top right-hand corner of your screen. Once it has completely finished, click on the file.
Step 6: Your Mac device will go through a verification process on the application file you’ve just downloaded. Sit back; let it run through.
Step 7: A prompt will appear on the screen. Drag the ‘Firefox application’ (left icon) into the ‘Applications Folder’ (right icon).
Step 8: You’re all set! You have successfully downloaded Firefox and is ready for use.
Step 9: A security message may appear when you open Firefox for the first time stating that the application you’ve just downloaded is from the internet and if you’d like to open it. Click the “open” button.
