Getting to Know Your IPEVO V4K
IPEVO V4K consists of three parts:
- Camera: 8 Megapixel camera. Camera head can be swiveled for customizing orientation.
- Multi-jointed stand:
- Quickly and easily change the height and position to capture your material.
- Tighten loose joints by turning bolts at connecting joints clockwise with a coin.
- Weighted base: Provides a stable base for V4K.
- Focus button: Focuses the subject.
- AutoFocus switch: Sets the focus to Single (S) for static subject, or Continuous (C) for moving subject.
- Exposure toggle: Provides exposure customization.
- LED indicator: Turns white if IPEVO V4K is in use and providing an image.
- Microphone: Turns on when IPEVO V4K is in use. You can select it as your audio device for video recording.
Setting up IPEVO V4K document camera with Zoom via app
- Plug in the IPEVO into your computer via USB.
- Launch the Zoom app
NOTE: If you do know how to sign into your Zoom account please click here.
- Click Settings located at the top right corner under your profile picture.
- Click the Video tab. Select IPEVO V4K as the camera source in Camera.
NOTE: If you’re seeing a mirrored image in preview, uncheck Mirror my video in My Video.
- IPEV V4K has a built-in microphone. If you would like to use it as your audio source then you can do so by clicking the Audio tab. Select IPEVO V4K as the audio source in Microphone.
Using IPEVO V4K as a Document Camera
- Click the green Share Screen on your tool bar.
- A separate screen with appear and you will want to switch to the Advanced tab and click Content from 2nd Camera. Instantly, your content from the Document Camera will appear as a second camera.
