DESCRIPTION
Submit a personal photo to be used as your official Dominican ID Card (Star Card) photo.
PHOTO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Use a recent color photo (taken in the past 1 month) that reflects your current appearance.
Stand in front of a plain, light background, preferably white.
Keep your face centered, front view (head straight), full face , and eyes open. Your submission should resemble a driver's license or a passport photo.
Take the photo with the flash on if you are not in a well-lit area.
Wear prescription glasses only if normally worn. Photos with glasses on are best taken in a well-lit area with no flash.
DO NOT take the photo yourself. Have someone else take the photo, no selfies.
DO NOT upload an edited, filtered, or black-and-white photo.
DO NOT wear hats, sunglasses, or other items that obscure your face (religious and medical garments are permitted).
DO NOT wear prescription glasses unless normally worn. Photos with glasses on are best taken in a well-lit area with no flash.
DO NOT include people, animals, or objects in the background.
DO NOT make inappropriate expressions.
ONCE YOUR PHOTO IS SUBMITTED:
You will receive an email in your Dominican inbox letting you know your photo request was received and is waiting to be reviewed. Once your photo has been reviewed by Support Center staff, you will be notified if it has been accepted or denied. If your photo has been accepted, you will not have to do anything further. If your photo is denied, you will receive instructions on how to resubmit a new photo.

- Part- and Full-Time Staff
- Part- and Full-Time Students
AVAILABILITY
Account access for sponsored guests is available 24/7; however, time and date restrictions may be placed upon request.

SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT (SLA)
The target delivery time for Reviewing A Star Card Photo is within five (5) business days after all information has been submitted online and approved by the direct supervisor and Information Technology.
